I am trying to get disability, it is taking forever. They are 99% sure that I have MS ( No lesions have been found as of yet) and Tourettes Syndrome just as my eldest son does. I am constantly being tested with MRI's, EEG's, X-rays, Blood work, I am 35 yrs old and can hardly walk, drive or do daily tasks anymore. I am falling daily, losing my memory, constantly tired and in pain, even with the medications they have me on ( Morphine, klonipin, 500mg of Naprosyn, Vicodin, Mirapex.) My team of Doctors have diagnosed me with: Scoliosis and Sclerosis of the spine, spinal Stenosis, advanced Rheumatoid Arthritis , Peripheral Neuropathy,ataxia, Severe Restless Leg Syndrome& Fibromyalgia. They think I have MS but it is not showing up on the MRI ( which can take up to 4 yrs) I am slowing losing my memory which will eventually turn to dementia, I fall due to lack of coordination and muscle weakness. I am on so many different types of medications that I am constantly tired, along with the weakness that naturally comes with the illnesses. I was just married April 25, 2008 to the man of my dreams.. I waited 34 years before I finally took the plunge and now, 6 months later I fall ill. I can no longer work, or go to school. It is hard for me to even drive anymore. I was going back to school to get my English/Psychology Degree- to be able to put my sons through college..Well that won't be happening. I am still waiting to hear from disability, but you all know how long that can take. My eldest is 15, my baby is 8. I have 4 wonderful stepchildren. I was all set to be a psychotherapist in abnormal behavior, but now that dream has come to a bitter end. It just seems so unfair. I refuse to give up! If you can help in anyway, PLEASE DO. We are about to lose our house and EVERYTHIING...please. please I need you to help us any way possible!
